The Metropolitan Community Church of San Francisco is now hosting a monthly LGBT Catholic mass every second Saturday at 5:00 p.m. MCC is located at 150 Eureka Street in the Castro. Led by Roman Catholic Woman Priest Rev. Victoria Rue, Ph.D. (featured in the film Pink Smoke over the Vatican), the MCC mass �welcomes all to the table, regardless of spiritual back-ground or tradition.  It features  inclusive language; feminist, queer and liberation theologies; shared leadership and preaching; embodied prayer; the honoring of other faith traditions; silence and song.

"'The Lifesong That Keeps You At The Table, A Day of Reflection for the LGBTQ Community,' Sonnino Mission House, 2800 Milvia Street, Berkeley, Saturday, March 3, 2012, 9:30-4:00 P. M. Together we will unfold the questions about why we join the church and why we stay. The day will begin with prayer and end with the celebration of the Eucharist. Through presentations, reflections and sharing.  We will identify and share  the wisdom that gives us the courage to continue our journeys of faith from the table of the Christ out into the world.
